Terms and Conditions for the Idesa Accesorios S.A. Commercial Warranty

Your warranty
Through this commercial warranty, Idesa Accesorios S.A. (hereinafter Idesa) guarantees the product against possible manufacturing and/or material defects for a period of one year from the original purchase date. This warranty does not affect the consumer’s and user’s legal rights, which are independent and compatible with the commercial warranty. Idesa may replace defective components or products with new or repaired ones, according to its technical criteria. All these defective replaced products and/or components become the property of Idesa.
In the case of professional use of the supplied products, a warranty in accordance with a specific agreement may be established with the purchaser.
Conditions

  1. This warranty shall only be valid when presented with the original bill or proof of purchase (indicating the purchase date, model and distributer name) together with the defective product during the period covered by the warranty.
  2. Idesa reserves the right not to provide the warranty service if the indicated documents are not presented or if the associated information is incomplete, illegible or has been altered. This warranty shall be void if the model name or serial number has been altered, deleted, has disappeared or is illegible.
  3. In order to prevent information loss or deletion from removable data storage media or accessories, these shall be removed before making use of the product warranty service. Idesa refuses all responsibility for any loss of data.
  4. Only correct usage and installation in accordance with instructions facilitated by Idesa are covered by this warranty.

None of the following situations is covered by this warranty:

  1. Periodic maintenance, repairs or parts replacement deriving from normal use and fair wear and tear.
  2. Consumable material (components that require periodic replacement during product lifetime, such as batteries and lamps etc).
  3. Damage or defects caused by improper product use, operation or treatment and not by normal product usage.
  4. Damage caused by:
  5. Improper use, including:

 

a.   Treatment deriving from superficial physical damage or changes or in product appearance or damage to liquid crystal display (LCD) screens. Product installation or use in a manner that does not respect Idesa installation or usage instructions.
b.   Product maintenance that does not respect Idesa instructions for proper maintenance.
c.   Product installation or use in a manner that does not respect the technical or safety standards in the country where it is installed or employed.
d.   Installation or use that contravenes current legislation on product use or application scope.
6.    Virus or product use with software not provided with the product or incorrect software installation.

  1. Product use with accessories, peripherals and other products of a type, condition or standards not established by Idesa.
  2. Repairs or attempts to repair by third parties.
  3. Product updates not contemplated in the specifications or characteristics described in the instruction manual or product modifications intended to adapt it to the technical or safety standards of countries for which the product was not specifically designed or manufactured.

 

  1. Adjustments or adaptations without prior authorisation from Idesa, including:
  2. Negligence.
  3. Accidents, fires, liquids, chemical products, other substances, flooding, vibration, excessive heat, inadequate ventilation, electrical overloads, voltage or excessive or incorrect voltage supply, radiation, electrostatic discharge and any other external forces or impacts.

Exceptions and limitations
Any guarantee that cannot be completely excluded shall be restricted to its duration, with respect to that permitted by current legislation.
The only obligation of Idesa in relation to this warranty is to repair or replace the products covered by the terms and conditions of this warranty. Idesa shall not be held responsible for any product or service loss or damage, this warranty or others, including economic loss or non-assessable damages; the price paid for the product; loss of benefits, income, information, usufruct or use of the product or associated products or indirect, accidental or critical losses or damages.
In cases in which the law prohibits or limits such exclusions, Idesa shall exclude or limit its   responsibility only insofar as permitted by current legislation. For example, there are countries that prohibit the exclusion or limitation of damages caused by negligence, criminal negligence, wilful misconduct, fraud and similar acts. The responsibility of Idesa under this warranty shall not exceed, under any circumstances, the price paid for the product, but if the law only permits the limitations of greater responsibilities, then these shall apply.


Warranty procedure.
Before using the warranty service:

  1. We suggest that you carefully read the instruction manual before making use of the warranty service.

If your doubts or problems are not answered by consulting the two previous sources, you can contact our Technical Assistance Service via our Website at http://www.idetronic.com/
You will be attended to in one of four languages:

  1. Spanish
  2. English
  3. French
  4. German

We guarantee a reply within 24 hours of receiving the warranty call.
The delivery time to the product transport will be a maximum of 36 hours after verification that all the requirements referred to in the conditions are met. (WORKING DAYS)
The employed transport and time required to deliver your product under warranty will depend on the destination.
When the merchandise is delivered, the replaced product, parts or components shall be collected, otherwise you will be notified in writing.
